It all started when...
I acquired an early passion for movement, particularly gymnastics and dance. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Adelaide University, graduating in 1995.
During this 3-year degree, I was introduced to a daily yoga practice in addition to learning various dance styles including classical ballet and modern dance. Theory components included anatomy and biomechanics, and when combined with pilates, established a solid foundation of human movement, with emphasis on technique and alignment.
I respect that well-being is more than just fitness, so I decided to complete a Bachelor of Nutrition to further support my clients on their well-being journey.
I believe that the body plays a significant role in our overall well-being. Our physical health, our mental health, body awareness, and also self care significantly impact our quality of life, and maintaining all of these in lock step isn’t easy.
Your journey toward well-being is a personal and unique one that through my experience and knowledge can give guidance on, and ensure you have the best chance to reach the goals that you aspire towards.
I would love to hear from you, and look forward to joining you on your wellbeing journey.
